CPDgen takes your everyday clinical cases — straight from your AI scribe — and builds a complete, defensible CPD record aligned to Australian guidelines. Ready to paste into myCPD Quick Log.
Great — you already like working smart. CPDgen is the natural next step. Your scribe captures the consult. CPDgen turns it into CPD. From consult notes to CPD record in under 1 minute.
Every complex case, every guideline lookup, every clinical decision — that's real CPD. It just needs capturing.
My name is Dr Ahmed Al-Obaidi. I'm a Fellow GP with about 7 years working at the coalface of general practice. Like a lot of doctors, I love tech and gadgets — but I also feel the daily grind: complex cases, mountains of admin, and somehow still needing to log CPD at the end of it all.
One day it hit me — I'm already doing this work. Every case is real CPD. I just needed a simple tool to capture it. So I built CPDgen in a weekend using Claude AI. It's not polished. It's not perfect. But it works, and my colleagues liked it — so here we are.
I'm happy to get feedback — it's early days, and your input will shape what it becomes.

Everything you need to know before you paste your first case. Tap a question to open it.
Paste the de-identified output from your ambient scribe (Heidi, Lyrebird, or any other) straight into CPDgen. It checks the case against the relevant Australian guideline, suggests the CPD activity type and hours, drafts a reflection you can edit, and produces a ready-to-log record with an evidence PDF, in under a minute.
Yes. CPDgen is scribe-agnostic, so it works with the notes from any ambient AI scribe used in Australian general practice, including Heidi and Lyrebird. If you can copy the consult summary as text, CPDgen can turn it into a CPD record.
A ready-to-log CPD record: a guideline check on your management, a suggested CPD activity type and hours, a written reflection you can edit, and a downloadable evidence PDF to keep for your portfolio.
CPDgen is an independent tool built by a GP. It helps you prepare a CPD record formatted for myCPD Quick Log, with a suggested activity type and hours. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by the RACGP, ACRRM, or any CPD home. You review every record and remain responsible for what you log against your own CPD requirements.
Yes, CPDgen is free to use during the pilot, with no login required. It was built by a practising GP for Australian doctors.
CPDgen is built privacy-first. You enter de-identified case notes only, with no patient names or identifiers. Your case stays in your browser and is sent through a secure proxy to Claude purely to generate the analysis, then discarded. Nothing is stored on any server.
CPDgen was built by Dr Ahmed Al-Obaidi, a GP in Victoria, Australia, to turn real clinical work into compliant CPD without the admin.
Paste your first case. Get your guideline analysis, Quick Log entry, and evidence PDF — in under 1 minute. Free during the pilot.
